I do have options for you but the Alumi-Tread Manual Pull-Out Step for RVs - 8" Drop/Rise part # LC432698 (358991 is the manufacturer part number) will not fit properly because the opening on your trailer is 28" and the frame of the steps is 28" the fit will be too snug.
I recommend to use Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps for RVs part # SMFP-2100 which is 27-5/8" wide for a perfect fit on your trailer if you want to utilize the space under the door for a pull out step. There is not a quad... view full answer...
It may very well be possible to rebuild the landing gear on your 2010 Forest River Wildcat 5th wheel with a rebuild kit, but first you will need to identify which model landing gear is installed.
On either of the landing gear legs there should be a part number, this may be on a white sticker or stamped into the metal depending on the specific landing gear. With this part number I can then identify your landing gear and recommend the correct rebuild kit.
If there is not any part numbers... view full answer...
I sent the picture and info you sent us to Lippert to confirm what pin box you have and they told me it was a Lippert 1621 so the Goose box part # RP85FR that you referenced would be exactly what you'd need. I was also able to confirm that your chassis has a 15.5k capacity so the 20k capacity of this would work well. view full answer...
Upgrading your shackle straps and bolts with the # MR26ZR is a great choice to do when flipping your axles with an over under conversion kit since you'll have to remove most of your hardware to complete the flip. You'll need to measure the diameter of your axles with a caliper # PTW80157 to determine which to kit to get.
If you have 2-3/8" diameter axles you'll need part # K71-384-00, and for 3" axles you'll need part # K71-385-00. You won't need any other parts to complete the installation,... view full answer...
Yes, the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers # RM-2460-2570 will still work with your 5th wheel even if you flip your axles to have your leaf springs above the axle with a kit like # K71-385-00. I recommend completing both at the same time because you'll have to completely take your suspension apart to install the Comfort Ride.
You'll want to get down by your axles and check the axle tag to see what the capacity is prior to purchasing your Comfort Ride... view full answer...
The Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit # RR23QX essentially just stacks onto your current hangers to lift your trailer by 1-1/4" or 2-1/4". If you're looking for something that will give you more then there are a few other options available.
Option 1: Cut off your current hangers and have longer ones welded on. This would increase the height based on the increased hanger length.
Option 2: If your axles are above your leaf springs you can use an Over-Under Kit like # K71-385-00... view full answer...
The Lippert Components 32" Lead 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear Drop Leg part # LC179013 is only available as a complete unit. If any of the internal components have been damaged you will need to replace the entire leg. view full answer...
The 9417375592 number you provided unfortunately isn't coming back any active part numbers so we'll need to take some measurements to find the correct step of steps for your trailer. Before measuring make sure that you level your trailer. If you're wanting to stick with pull-out steps then you'll need to measure from the ground up to the mounting brackets for the steps. Next you'll measure the width of the mounting brackets. The # LC432698 you were looking at fits 28" wide mounting brackets... view full answer...
The Lippert # LC432698 steps you mentioned are designed to replace steps with a 28 inch mount, so they'll be a good fit. The steps have an overall height of 30-3/4 inches, measured as shown in the provided photo which also shows other dimensions. You can see a product demonstration video by clicking the provided link.
# LC432698 is the current model of the # 358991 RV steps. view full answer...
The correct Solera RV Slide-Out Awning for a slide-out measuring 68" (outside flange to outside flange) is part # LCV000163279 for white or part # LCV000165063 for black. view full answer...
A 6k Dexter axle like what you have has a 3 inch diameter so the Over Under kit part # K71-385-00 that you referenced is correct and would work. You would need to order a quantity of two of these since it is a tandem axle trailer. view full answer...
In order to find the correct SnapPad RV Jack Pads for your 2016 Forest River Wildcat 5th Wheel Trailer you'll need to note the shape and measure. Unfortunately, we can't say for sure exactly which one you need as the manufacturer could have used more than one system on said trailer depending on their inventory at the time as that is just kind of the way trailer manufacturing works. That said, it's only two things you need to do so once you have these you can choose the correct replacement... view full answer...
Yes, you can use the Valterra Foam Weather Stripping for RV Air Conditioners # A10-1414 to replace the gasket on your old Dometic rooftop unit. I can not stress enough though to not drag the unit when you're swapping these out. It will tear the gasket up and and roof membrane which is a nightmare to fix/replace.
As for the wiring size needed that will depend on the unit but you'd be safe using 10AWG or thicker wiring for the AC power to the unit. view full answer...
You'd want to install the battery isolation solenoid part # PK5231201 on the vehicle side of the wiring so that you'd have access to a keyed circuit to allow the 12 volts only to be active when key is on. To do this on the trailer side of the wiring would require you to be a bit more creative. You could use the running light circuit as the activation circuit so that only when the headlights or running lights are on the battery would charge. view full answer...
Brake controllers aren't vehicle or trailer specific for the most part. The only thing that could cause a problem would be if you have the original Prodigy with the red LED display and your fifth wheel has an electric over hydraulic braking system.
The Prodigy P2 controller, part # 90885 which has a blue LED display IS compatible with electric over hydraulic brakes or straight electric drum brakes.
If you do have the old Prodigy model and you need to upgrade, brake controllers have come... view full answer...
The Lippert Electric Landing Gear Set part # LC333964 should be an excellent replacement option for a Forest River Wildcat Fifth Wheel. In order to confirm, simply measure the distance between the weld stops and compare that to the dimensions below:
Distance from bottom of upper weld stop to top of lower weld stop: 15-1/2"
Distance from top of upper weld stop to bottom of lower weld stop: 17-1/2"
If yours match, these will be a direct fit. The extra brackets can be discarded. view full answer...
I do not see any reason why you would not be able to install the Empire Faucets RV Kitchen Faucet w/ Pull-Down Spout # EM65CR with the handle in the front of the faucet.
The way that the faucet installs, it looks like you will be able to rotate it before installing the threaded washer that holds the faucet in place. The only thing to keep in mind is that this faucet does rotate to allow you to spray from just about any angle and putting the handle in front could have a slight impact on... view full answer...
Before you go replacing your landing gear you should check a couple of things first to ensure that a full replacement is the way to go.
There is a couple of reasons why a jack will blow fuses and struggle going up and down.
One being weight of the 5th wheel changing. If your 5th wheel has gotten heavier over the years, then that could be causing the motor to draw excessive power to compensate for the weight change and consequently blow fuses.
If your 5th wheel has not changed in weight,... view full answer...
The Adco Olefin HD All-Climate # AD99ZR is an all weather cover, that will protect your 5th wheel against rain, wind, dirt, and sun. This cover works best in long term storage in all climates.
However, based on my research your trailer is listed at 150" which may not be compatible with this cover. To be sure, I recommend measuring from the bottom of the trailer to the top of the trailer; and from the front of the trailer to the back. This will ensure that you have the correct measurements... view full answer...
